March this year at the majority of doctors of the Israeli Oncological Hospital LISOD was as bright as spring, and besides – full of interesting and important scientific events. LISOD radiation therapist Marina Sokolovskaya also did not sit at the workplace: the thirst to share experiences and join the knowledge of her colleagues led her to the VII National Congress with international participation “Radiology in Ukraine”.

In the entire history of Ukraine’s independence, it was the largest event in radiology. From March 27 to March 29, more than 700 people from 11 countries took part in the event. Among the guests of the radiological forum were representatives of the leadership of the European Society of Radiology (ESR), national radiological associations and societies of other countries. Simultaneously with the congress, the XIII School-seminar “Practical issues of modern visualization in the clinic” took place. Over the course of three days, 130 lectures and scientific reports were given, workshops were held, and an exhibition of the latest radiological equipment took place. We are sure that the event participants did not have to be bored!

Marina Sokolovskaya took part in the section on radiation oncology and nuclear medicine, and also made a presentation “Partial breast irradiation: advantages and prospects for use. Experience of LISOD Hospital”.
