Professor Gal Markel (Israel). Head of Davidoff Cancer Center at Rabin Hospital in Israel. For many years he has been engaged in the treatment and research of melanoma. Leading expert in the treatment of skin cancer and melanoma in Israel. Associate Professor, Department of Clinical Microbiology and Immunology, Tel Aviv University.

The main areas of activity are immuno-oncology and treatment of melanoma, non-melanoma skin neoplasms, squamous cell and basal cell carcinoma of the skin, etc.

Winner of numerous awards from the Israel Association of Oncology and Radiation Therapy, the Israel Plastic Surgery Association, the Cancer Association, as well as scientific grants from foundations in Israel and around the world.

Member of the European and American Societies of Oncology and Cancer Research (ESMO, AACR, ASCO). Member of the World Society for Melanoma Research. Member of the Israel Society for Cancer Research. Member of the Israel Association for Clinical Oncology and Radiotherapy.
